I never planned to land in supply chain.
I wasn’t even sure what it really meant when I first stepped into the role of supply chain optimization expert 12 years ago at Bridgestone EMEA.
I discovered the world of optimization and how mathematics, data, and logic could actually improve things, not just explain them.
I started seeing supply chains as a challenge, a multidimensional game of constraints and trade-offs.
Now, I can’t imagine doing anything else.
Supply chain planning & optimization turned out to be the exact right kind of difficult. It’s messy, it’s complex, and it never stops evolving.
Learning about supply chains felt like stepping into a huge invisible machine, one that powers everything around us but is rarely seen or understood.
Every day, there’s a new problem to solve and that’s what I love most.
